My fiance flew his family and us to Barcelona, Spain. After a few days of enjoying the sights, we were walking along and he showed me a beautiful church. He asked me if I wanted to go inside.
We went in and sat on the alter as my fiance told me this was the exact spot his grandparents were married in 1944.
He pulled out the ring and told me this is where he wanted our life to begin just like his grandparents had.
Then we went to a beautiful restaurant where his family was waiting for us.
Last but not least, to my surprise, my mother jumped out of the closet as I entered the room! My fiance had flown my mother there, too, without me knowing about it. Everyone had a wonderful celebration together.

All you have to do is visit the link, watch two minutes of video and you'll know that this was the greatest proposal ever.
My fiance made the video behind my back, which starred my niece, nephew, mom, dad and step-mom.
Then he put the video on a DVD and had me sit down on the sofa and watch it on my TV.
Needless to say, I cried, I laughed, i kicked him, I punched him and ultimately said yes!

On Easter Sunday I proposed to my girlfriend, now fiance.
I put a note on the front door of our apartment that read, "An Easter egg scavenger hunt awaits you inside, on top of the fridge the first egg you will find." The first egg had Hersheys Kisses with a note saying,
"Here's a little kiss for you, later you get a big one,
Then you know what we'll do,
Look in the office in the chair,
The next egg awaits you there."
In the office I had an egg on the chair full of jelly beans with a note saying,
"An egg full of jelly beans you found on this seat,
They remind me of you, so colorful and sweet,
If you look behind the t.v. you'll find your next treat."
Behind the t.v. I had an egg with a twenty-dollar bill in it and a note that said,
"This egg has money I know you could use,
But this money is for whatever you choose,
I saved the best egg for last, with something I know you'll always keep,
It's hidden where you lay your head when you sleep."
I had a large porcelain egg under her pillow with her engagement ring in it. So when she opened the egg I got down on my knee and told her that I loved her so much and I wanted to spend my life with her, and asked if she would marry me. She said yes, and couldn't quit saying, "Oh my god." It was a really sweet moment.

I was trying to think of some good ideas on a way to ask Cat if she would marry me and, after a lot of thought, I decided on this plan.
Being a commercial pilot, I decided that I'd make a unique proposal to her. I called up a bunch of my friends and family along with the airport management to ask for their help. They all agreed, so on March 21, 2007 I arranged to take her flying down to Roanoke, VA for dinner at a cozy restaurant.
When we came back (after sunset) the main runway was still open, but the second runway was closed for the evening—for good reason! She looked out the window to see a bright glow coming from the closed runway and asked me what I thought it was. I suggested that we do a fly over to check—the tower was closed for the night at this time.
As we made our way to the side so that she could get a good look, I heard her gasp and then she looked at me with tears welling up in her eyes. What she had seen was over 19,500 lit candles laid out on the runway, which read "Catherine, I Love You With All My Heart. Will You Marry ME?"
I then reached out my hand in which sat the ring I'd bought her earlier in the month. After a moment, we heard one of the other pilots on the frequency ask what the result was. She pressed her mike button and said in between tears, "Yes."
After we landed, we had an unexpected surprise. Two of the airport's fire department trucks showered the plane as it passed under the arches of water.

First, we are both huge Houston Rockets basketball fans—we always go to the home games.
There was a game on a Friday November 11, 2006. My boyfriend was talking about getting some friends and family together to go to Houston, Texas, for the weekend. I was amazed that he got 23 people to go.
In Houston, we got ready to go to the game—I was so angry at him all day because he was being very moody!. He, two others and I had to be there early to arrange everybody's seats. Well, that's what they led me to believe.
A Rockets employee came up to us and asked if we would like to participate in a promotional game on court—I was freaking out! I asked her why she picked us. She said because we looked like dedicated Rockets fans, and we did, we were all decked out in Rockets gear!
When the time came, we went on court and played a game of basketball Tic Tac Toe (I beat him). At this point I was still clueless of what was about to happen. The announcer said there was something else for me and gave my boyfriend the microphone. He got down on one knee, opened the ring box, and asked me to marry him in front of 20,000 people center court of a professional basketball game! I was such in shock I didn't even answer him! I eventually said yes!
It was the most amazing day of my life! It was like we were famous that night. Everywhere we went people were congratulating us! I was so clueless about all the planning and everyone there knew he was going to propose but me! I love him!

Three years ago my boyfriend (now husband) told me we had to attend a work-related fund raiser his boss was hosting at a local art gallery. I was dreading it! I thought, "What a boring night this will be."
We showed up at the gallery and he asked the front desk where his company fund raiser was held. She pointed us in the right direction (he had worked out every detail). As we walked we looked at the pottery placed on in glass boxes on pedestals. We got to the last pedestal and inside was a red silk sheet with my ring sitting on it! In addition, there was a description hanging on the pedestal explaining the significance of the ring!
He got down on one knee and proposed. He also had a lady in the background taking pictures!
Next, he said we were going to the mall to find me an outfit because tomorrow is our engagement party! He even planned the party with all our friends and family!

On Christmas Eve 2006 my best friend invited my girlfriend and me over for with a couple of other friends. I asked her if it would be okay if I proposed to my girlfriend at her home but I wanted to do it in a clever way. Later in the evening we decided to play charades — guys against the girls.
I let the guys in on what I was planning to do so toward the end of the game I acted out "Will you marry me" and my best friend's husband yelled out, "Will you marry me?"
I pulled the ring out of my pocket and bent down on one knee in front of my girlfriend waiting for her response. The room got real quiet. It was like she was in a daze and it took her a good six to eight seconds before she realized I was really proposing. Those were the longest eight seconds of my life!
She said, "Yes"
